About me and my practice

I'm a person-centred therapist. I'm trained and qualified to work with clients face-to-face, online, and over the telephone.

I always endeavour to create a space that feels comforting to open up in, one where you will feel seen, heard, and validated.

Unlike most relationships in life, where you are given advice and guidance, my therapy will offer you a space to learn how to develop your own guidance and build resilience.

I strive to ensure our therapy sessions work at a pace that is comfortable for you but also productive. You will often hear me ask at the end of sessions if it has felt useful. This helps me assess whether each session has proved useful and productive to ensure you feel progress is being made.

Experience

I have over 25 years of experience supporting people to improve their mental, physical, and social well-being. This experience has made me confident when working with people with varying degrees of presentation in my therapy room. I also have a good working knowledge of other services that can support you on your journey to accompany your therapy experience. I have experience working with people of all ages. I now offer therapy to anyone aged 18+.

I have areas of specific interest; these include work-related stress & bereavement and loss.

Qualifications

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently in the last year of my MSc in this subject.

I can offer a FREE 15-minute initial consultation.

Fees

I charge £65 per session and can offer concessionary rates to those on low income and students.

When I Work

I'm available Mon-Friday & can offer a mixture of day & evening appointments. I also offer some weekend appts
